Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra

The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra is one of Europe’s most versatile orchestras. Its repertoire includes the great classics as well as exciting new music and together with composers, conductors and soloists it constantly strives to break new ground. The orchestra is also all of Sweden’s orchestra. Wherever you live in the country, you can listen to the orchestra’s concerts on the radio and on the web through Swedish Radio P2 and several concerts are also shown on Berwaldhallen Play and broadcast on Swedish Television.
International Trombone Summit
Danville, Pennsylvania
The International Trombone Summit is an intensive music festival designed to connect student musicians with professionals from all over the globe. Students will receive private lessons with faculty, solo performance opportunities, chamber music with coachings and performances, warm-up classes, and masterclasses. A highlight of the summit is "International Intermissions" which features a daily virtual conversation connecting students with current performers from some of the most famous orchestras on the planet.
Eastern Music Festival
Greensboro, North Carolina
For six decades, Eastern Music Festival (EMF), a nationally recognized classical music festival and summer educational program, is produced each summer on the campus of Guilford College, UNCG, and other venues in the Greensboro, North Carolina, area. EMF is distinguished by its accomplished faculty, exhilarating repertoire, and world-renowned visiting artists under the artistic direction of Gerard Schwarz. A powerful teaching institution, EMF provides encouragement and guidance to over 265 young musicians from across the country and around the globe as they take their first steps towards careers in the performing arts. During EMF’s five-week 60th anniversary season (June 26 – July 31, 2021), the Festival will present more than 65 ticketed concerts and 30+ outreach performances throughout the region.
