Mecklenburg Vorpommern, Germany
The Norddeutsche Orchesterakademie is a new and in many ways unique orchestra - a passionate union of professionals, music students and amateurs for whom music is not a profession, but a calling. The focus of the concerts are the lighthouses of orchestral literature, especially of the 19th and 20th centuries. The monumental works of the late romantic and modern large symphonies, with often more than a hundred participants, are a special challenge for every orchestra. The North German Orchestra Academy creates the rare opportunity for discerning musicians to work on and experience these works together with orchestra professionals. The highlight of every project is the glamorous performance in a famous concert hall.
